#LagosAt50 10 Colorful Pictures From The Last Eyo Festival In Lagos State

The Eyo Festival took place last Saturday, 20th of May 2017 at the Tafawa Balewa square, Lagos. This year’s festival has been organised to achieve two purposes. First to celebrate the Adamu Orisha play in honour of the Late Oba Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi, Kusenla II, a great Lagosian and a foremost traditional ruler and secondly, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of our dear state, #LagosAt50. The last Eyo Festival took place 5 years ago, so there was a lot of excitement during this year’s festival, even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirit.
